Co-lead teacher & founder of Sutra Seeds Teacher Training Michelle Weintraub stepped onto her first yoga mat in 1996 and in all honesty, she didn't fall in love with the practice.  She was tight, the room was hot and it wasn't "easy"...

She was "done" with yoga.

So she thought.. "When at first you don't succeed, try try again".

In 1999,Michelle discovered Anusara Yoga in Jersey City, NJ. It was there when she was introduced to the "sound" of Yoga - Krishna Das (pictured with Michelle above) whose chants you will hear during any of Michelle's classes as they continue to transform her life.  It was here Michelle learned not to try to make her body take the shape of the poses; rather, let the poses take the shape of her body. And so became her relationship with Yoga.

Over 10 years passed when Michelle completed her 200 hour teacher training under the watchful and trained eye of Tara Madore, owner of Inner Light Yoga Center, Anusara Certified and Chiropractor. Currently, Michelle is an ERYT200 certified by The Yoga Alliance.  She deepens her knowledge of the practice through regular trainings with teachers

Mark Holzman, Jason Crandall, Leslie Kaminoff & Krishna Das.

Michelle is also trained by Love Your Brain Foundation, an organization that is committed to bringing the practice of Yoga to people affected with TBI (traumatic brain injury) and concussion.

There is never a class where Michelle misses the chance to say the words,

"the pose is not the practice, the practice is life and Yoga gives us the opportunity to fall in love with our life and our body".  Her classes are well-rounded and designed to fit all bodies.

In addition to practicing and teaching Yoga, Michelle owns forevergreen®, her company where she creates and hand makes natural soaps, candles, body and air care. To learn more about Michelle, visit her website www.forevergreen44.com or forevergreensoaps.etsy.com
